He
came from China and became a disciple of 'KALANGINATHA SIDDHA'.
He did yoga in a strenuous way and achieved many siddhis. One of
his specialisations was in his handling the poisionous herbs called 'PASHANAM'. He could cure may ailments using such poisionous
herbs. His indelible mark of achievement is the construction of
Lord Karthikeya's statue with 'Nine Pasana' herbs, which still exists
in 'PALANI' temple. By using 'Rasavada' (Alchemy)
technique, he used to roam around in the sky, finding out the natural
resources and reporting them. He exposed many 'magicians' by explaining
their, modus operandi, in detail through poems. |
